Spring

Marquette Michigan is a gorgeous place to visit in the spring. It is the largest city in the Upper Peninsula so there is plenty to do and see! Warm up and get your day started with a cup of Contrast Coffee.

If it’s still a bit chilly and you want to stay in, the Lake Superior Theatre always has a great show on the calendar.

Summer

During the summer months everything is open from state parks to shops. Visit the Marquette Maritime Museum, or hit the links at the Marquette Golf Club. Nearby attractions by land or by water including waterfalls, and the beautiful Pictured Rocks. Take your family on the big lake with Great Idea Charters and catch some Great Lakes fish.

Fall

When summer is over and fall starts to set in, take a scenic color tour or sit back and relax while you take in the colors at Rippling River Resort. Grab a bite to eat at Togo’s or Thill & Sons Fish House.

Winter

Winter sports and outdoors are happening all winter long. Down Wind Sports has all of your winter needs covered. The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, and Marquette Cinemas are great options as well. While some of the restaurants and tourist attractions are closed, you can still stay busy outside or find a relaxing cabin or bed and breakfast to hunker down in.
